Ticket to Ride: First Journey (Europe) brings the excitement of the classic Ticket to Ride series to younger players. With simplified rules and shorter gameplay, this family-friendly version is perfect for kids and beginners looking to embark on an adventure across Europe.
In this fun and fast-paced board game, 2 to 4 players collect train cards to claim routes and complete tickets by connecting cities on the map. The game board features a colorful map of Europe with routes linking cities like Dublin, Moscow, and Madrid. Players start with four train cards and two destination tickets, each showing two cities they need to connect with their trains.
On each turn, players can either draw train cards from the deck or use their cards to claim a route between two cities. To claim a route, players must discard train cards matching the routeβs color and length. When a player successfully connects the cities on a ticket, they reveal the completed ticket and draw a new one. Special cross-continent tickets are awarded when players connect cities from the westernmost part of Europe (like Dublin or Madrid) to the easternmost cities (such as Moscow or Rostov).
The first player to complete six tickets wins the game, but if a player places all 20 of their trains on the board before that, the player with the most completed tickets wins.
Ticket to Ride: First Journey (Europe) offers the same exciting gameplay as the original First Journey game, but with a European twist. Easy to learn and quick to play, itβs the perfect introduction to strategy games for players aged 6 and up.
