Pandemic – A Cooperative Strategy Game to Save the World!
In Pandemic, multiple deadly diseases are spreading across the globe, and it’s up to you and your team of specialists to stop them. Players work together to treat outbreaks in key cities while researching cures for four rapidly spreading plagues. The clock is ticking, and the survival of humanity depends on your teamwork and strategy!
The game board represents major global population centres, with players using up to four actions per turn to travel between cities, treat infections, discover cures, or construct research stations. A player’s abilities are determined by a role-specific character, such as the Operations Expert, who can build research stations for increased mobility, or the Scientist, who needs fewer cards to discover a cure.
Players draw cards from a deck to perform actions, but beware of Epidemic! cards, which intensify disease outbreaks and make controlling the spread even more challenging. A separate infection deck dictates the normal progression of the diseases, ensuring every game is tense and unpredictable.
To win, the team must cure all four diseases. However, if outbreaks escalate beyond control or time runs out, everyone loses. Collaboration and smart planning are essential to success.
